NEWISH

Tamari Bar

Cap Hill's new-style Izakaya and sister restaurant to Suika opened on Valentine's Day with a wide variety of menu items that combine Japanese pub food traditions with modern techniques and flavors. Don't miss The Rockin Marinated Waygu Beef served raw to grill on a hot stone, the Seattle Croquette, or any of the fresh sushi. For those feeling thirsty, Tamari also offers Japanese whiskey and sake flights.

Gold Bar & Oro Kitchen

Gold Bar is a new SLU haunt for cocktails, Latin American bites like empanadas, yuca fries, and tacos. Happy Hour from 4 - 6 includes $4 draft beer and $5 wine and bubbles. There's also a boilermakers menu with options like the Triple T-- 1 Tecate, 1 tequila, and 1 taco for $12. The attached Oro Kitchen focuses on fast-casual bowls for the lunch crowd.

Black Cat

Canon vet, Dustin Haarstad, opens Belltown's newest neighborhood bar. They're slangin' boilermakers, Fernets on tap, comfort food and a side of pinball, which means they'll fit in just fine. The menu includes options like Salmon Poke Tacos, Clam Sauce Mac & Cheese.

CLOSED
