On August 21st, 2017, you have the tremendous chance of witnessing a natural phenomenon, a total solar eclipse. It has been nearly four decades since a total solar eclipse has been visible from the continental United States and this opportunity is not something to be squandered. If you are interested, there might be no better place to celebrate this event than Oregon Eclipse. This festival held in Antelope, Oregon will not only give you the best view of the eclipse on the west coast, but will also feature seven magical stages of music, workshops, yoga & dance classes, theatrical performances and massive art installations. Running from august 17th to the 23rd, Oregon Eclipse will be the highlight of your year.

Oregon Eclipse will take place at Big Summit Prairie in the beautiful Ochocco National Forest. Big Summit is a private ranch with over 55,000 acres of flat campgrounds, forests and a pristine 52 acre lake. This will be your home for the duration of the festival and your front row seat to the incredible eclipse. With the nearest neighbor 16 miles away, anything is possible in these wide open spaces. The creators of Oregon Eclipse are also very proud to announce there will be no cell phone service at Oregon Eclipse and invite you to disconnect in order to reconnect.

The majority of the music at Oregon Eclipse will fall under the electronic umbrella but will also include plenty of live bands and world music. Bassnectar, Emancipator, The Glitch Mob, Acid Pauli, Damian Lazarus, Justin Martin and Zion-I are just a few names on the impressive lineup that spans across seven stages. Attendees may also take a break from the music and participate in permaculture classes, cooking classes, yoga sessions and much more. But out of all the attractions, the most important will be the people in attendance. The creators stress that the goal of Oregon Eclipse is to create an environment where people can come together to learn, love and submerge themselves into the community. Doesn’t that sound great?

This stunning event has been made possible because of its many collaborators. Organizers from festivals like Bass Coast Festival in Canada, Noisily in the UK, Origin in South Africa, Rainbow Serpent in Australia and many more have all come together and brought something special to make Oregon Eclipse truly unique. So come join in on the fun this summer or miss out on this once in a lifetime party. More information on the event and tickets can be found at www.oregoneclipse2017.com
