The best, and admittedly, trickiest part of interior design is mastering the language of color. Each color evokes a different vibe into a space depending on the tint, shade, or tone of the color used. For example, light colors will make a space seem large and airy, and darker colors will make a space seem warm and a lot smaller than it actually is. If color is something that overwhelms you, go halfway with it. Instead of choosing stark white, choose a white with blue or green undertones.
